Joomla! 1.5 native / 1.0.x plug-in extension
Shows each article's date in Jalali, Hijri and Gregorian with Persian idioms.
and replace English numbers with Persian/Arabic numbers on the title and the article.
also known as gJalaliDate.
Persian Joomla! translations problem
as you knew there is problems with Jalali date on Persian version of Joomla!. the contents didn't sort by date and you can't change them as you want. so i realise using the global version of Joomla! with Persian language pack and this plug-in, is the best way.
p.s. but as you read this, the problem almost solved. they used a new build-in kind of date converter on their language packs, with collaboration of main Joomla translation team. but still they hack the core for other futures.
Futures:
You can change date format as PHP function strftime().
You can define excluded categories.
You can choose the separator character.
You can use {gpersiandate=off} to disable the gPersianDate on the article.
You can use {gpersiannumber=off} to disable the gPersianNumber on the article.
